EK OONCHA MAYLO PROGRAMThe power of theatre as a performing art cannot be merely expressed in words. So what better than a congregation of, may we call, the best of the best of Gujarati theatre!

This June, Ideas Unlimited, the pioneers in the Gujarati Contemporary Theatre Circuit showcases their 6 best of the best productions, directed by Manoj Shah and performed by artists and technicians who are ignited by the very thought of alternative methods of expression.

Mr. Shah says, "Today's generation is unaware of our rich and vast Gujarati literature and culture, which can lead to innovation of future. These 6 productions, created between the years 1999-2010 has the ability to create an appreciation and will lead to an awakening of the rich Gujarati cultural heritage among the younger generation. In theatre, as in other walks of life, there is the dichotomy of class and mass; these productions have the power to encompass both."

Manoj Shah has always juxtaposed works of different artists to his direction to get the creativity running on stage in his productions. From paintings of Bhupen Khakkar in Master Phoolmani and Atul Dodiya in Jal Jal Mare Patang to ideas of visuals by Ghulam Momhmad. Sheikh in Mareez. Renowned Artists like Purshottam Upadhya, Kaumudi Munshi, Aashit Desai, Parthiv Gohil, Uday Mazumdar, Suresh Joshi, Bihari Gadhvi too have given their voices to many of his productions.

Ideas Unlimited's Theatre festival, "Ek Ooncha Maylo Parogram" is all set to be an event to watch out for and at this juncture without being modest we would like to quote "that it is history in the making"!

So dont miss out on the biggest, most unique theatre festival of the year with
"Ek ooncha Maylo Parogram" of Gujarati Theatre!
