The NCPA presents the NCPA Summer Fiesta, a mini-festival for children that encourages development through the performing arts. On the platter is a week of exciting children's films, workshops and plays, designed to educate and entertain your child.
BADMAASH KAHIN KA is the story of a naughty village boy who does not like to study. He is always getting into trouble with the villagers. One day, after failing in the school exams, he goes to a farm completely to avoid getting a beating from his mother. He decides to take his studies seriously and improve as a human being. There he meets a scarecrow that decides to help him out. They meet often and become good friends. At every meeting, the scarecrow tells the boy what is going to happen in the village with a promise of not sharing this information with anyone. Do these things really happen in village or does our boy end up in trouble again? Watch this fun-filled drama to find out.
CHITRONKI KAMAL MACHI DHAMAL is a one-act play set in a classroom. The play emphasises the importance of giving art as much attention as other subjects. The Indian education system lays a great deal of stress on subjects like Science and Mathematics, neglecting creative and performing arts. The drawing teacher in this school always gives the same drawing topic to his students in every class. Because of his monotonous style of teaching, one day all the students decide to draw something from their own imagination. Watch this comedy to find out what happens on those canvases.
