Atelier's 4th Youth Theatre Week in Mumbai will take place between December 4-7 2010 at St. Xavier's College. After three successful years in New Delhi, Atelier Theatre is glad to announce the opening of the 1st episode of Atelier's Youth Theatre Week (AYTW) 2010 in Mumbai. This year, after a week-long Theatre fiesta that will take place in New Delhi from November 14-22, 2010, AYTW Mumbai invites Colleges, Amateurs and Professional theatre groups for participation across the two cities. The festival in both the cities will reach out and connect to about 5,00,000 students and audiences over a period of almost 60 days. Atelier has received tremendous support from eminent Theatre and Bollywood personalities who will be present at both the venues (New Delhi and Mumbai) encouraging this unique campus theatre movement called ATELIER'S YOUTH THEATRE WEEK, 2010.

Atelier's 4th Youth Theatre Week
AYTW is an initiative of Atelier Theatre Society & Rock Castle, and is supported by the Government of Delhi and the National School of Drama. The essence of the festival is to give a platform to campus theatre groups by enabling them to perform professionally, right alongside professional Theatre Groups.

AYTW has received immense support and encouragement from eminent dignitaries and personalities like Ms. Sheila Dikshit (Chief Minister of Delhi), Theatre and film personalities like Lushin Dubey, Bubbles Subherwal, Gul Panag, Saurabh Shukla, Vinay Pathak, Arvind Gaur, Piyush Mishra, Gauhar Raza, and from Professor Paintal, The Vice Chancellor of Delhi University.

Next year, the aim is to take AYTW to Bengaluru and Kolkata as well, reaching out to a wider theatre audience, making this youth theatre festival a pan-India movement for theatre enthusiasts.

Call for Entry is open to students & professionals for AYTW 2010.
