Dharmendra Gohil Production'sMEERA will see a new actress in its upcoming shows. Bhamini Gandhi who portrayed the role of the contemporary Meera in the play, will not be able to perform for the shows on 15th and 16th October 2011 at Prithvi Theatre due to ill health. Sneha Desai who has written the play and is acting in it too, will be supported by younger sister Namita Parekh who has agreed to step in. Namita Parekh is not new to the theatre world as she has acted in inter-collegiate plays. Director Dharmendra Gohil, expresses delight and says, "It will be interesting to watch both the sisters perform. Also they both have similar features which will help us to showcase that both women are a reflection of Meera."
