Memorial For Damoo Kenkre...

The third death anniversary of Prof. Damoo Kenkre, noted Marathi theatre actor, director and designer, will be observed at 8 pm on Wednesday, 28 September 2011, with a special programme at the Ravindra Mini Theatre, Prabhadevi.

Eminent theatre persons Dr Mohan Agashe and Prof. Satish Alekar will deliver lectures on 'Psychology and Histrionics' and 'Playscript to Performance' respectively. The programme is open for all.

Thespian Atmaram Bhende will present the DAMOO KENKRE AWARD 2011 to young actor-director Nipun Dharmadhikari who will also be invited to produce a play to be performed in the DAMOO KENKRE FESTIVAL at Dr Bhalerao Natyagruha on 5 May 2012, which will be the 84th birth anniversary of Prof. Damoo Kenkre.
