Book Launch Of Ramu Ramanathan's MAHADEVBHAI (1892-1942)...

Playwright-Director, Ramu Ramanathan wrote the play MAHADEVBHAI (1892-1942) in 2002. It is one of the landmark plays of contemporary theatre in India. Jaimini Pathak, its solo actor still performs the play and has travelled with it far and wide.

The play has been translated into Marathi by Maya Pandit and is being published by Popular Prakashan. The book launch of the play will take place on 2nd May 2012 at 6 pm at the Maharashtra Seva Sangh in Mulund (W). Noted playwright, Satish Alekar will preside as the Chief Guest. Actor Omkar Govardhan will present a short reading from the Marathi translation.
