"Atelier's Performing Series" aims to look at the oeuvre of an artist or a writer in its totality through performances, workshops and talks.
With Performing Tagore in 2011 and Performing Badal Sircar in 2012, this year's series will feature Ramu Ramanathan, an acclaimed Indian playwright-director with several plays to his credit. His recent play COMRADE KUMBHKARNA has been touring all over India.
Atelier is a Delhi-based theatre group.
Following is the schedule of the talk, workshop and performance to take place in Delhi:
October 16-19, 2013 at Akshara Theatre, New Delhi, May Day Cafe, Shadipur & University of Delhi
} October 16, 2013: Talk by Ramu Ramanathan followed by a dramatic reading of his play CURFEW (May day Cafe, Shadipur): 6.30pm onwards
} October 17, 2013: Workshop on Playwriting by Ramu Ramunathan (SGTB Khalsa College, University of Delhi): 2pm - 6pm
} October 18, 2013: Performance of COLLABORATORS (Akshara Theatre): 7pm
} October 19, 2013: Performance of COLLABORATORS (Akshara Theatre): 7pm
