Yatri is celebrating the twentieth anniversary supported by ONGC of its most beloved production KAAL CHAKRA. Originally, a Marathi play by the well-known playwright Jaywant Dalvi, KAAL CHAKRA focuses on the mental and physical anguish that old couples undergo due to sheer callousness on the part of their children who do not wish to be burdened with the responsibility of looking after their aged-parents.
KAAL CHAKRA has been performed at various venues and locations in the country during the last twenty years. There have been many changes in the cast and crew over the years but the impact has always remained constant.
The protagonist of the play is a 70 year old man who repeatedly tells his children that "there was a time when you were dependent on us, today we are dependent on you and tomorrow your life will be depending on your children. There is no end to this vicious circle."
KAAL CHAKRA will be shown to the senior citizens free of Cost and 50% discount will be given to college students with college id.
