Yatri theatre group, led by Om Katare, has been involved with theatre for the last 35 years. Yatri believes that the performing arts are the most effective way of expressing one's self. With a view to help promote art and budding artists, Yatri has come up with the idea 'Khula Manch', which means an open platform or a stage.
This will be a free and open platform for artists to showcase their talent in front of the invitees and guests. It will be scheduled once every month and it will not only feature performances but will also stage group discussions and talks about art, theatre etc. Yatri's aim is mainly that 'Khula Manch' should become a medium between experienced artists and newcomers.
'Khula Manch' will be inaugurated on 6th September 2014 at 6 pm.
Venue: Western Railway Social Welfare Centre, Railway Colony, Andheri East, Near station.
