'Pen...People...Performances'...Dr Ajay Joshi writes about his theatre experiences...

Dr Ajay Joshi's book 'Pen...People...Performances' is a compilation of select articles that Dr Joshi has written over the past two decades of his journalistic career in the field of theatre. These include reviews, conversations, theatre travelogues, reflections that cover areas such as the' Zhadipatti Theatre',' Budhan Theatre of Protest', 'Ninasam', theatres of Italy, Georgia, Ankara, Sri Lanka and a plethora of interviews. The book has been divided into four sections namely- 'Beat', 'On the Road' , Conversations' and 'Reflections'.
The book will be realesed on 27th March 2015. 27th March is also celebrated as 'World Theatre Day'. The launch will be presided by senior art critic, writer , artiste and psychologist Shyamala Vanarase and theatre personality Samar Nakhate.
The launch of the book will be followed by a programme, 'Shabda...Nishabda', conceptualised by Dr Madhavi Vaidya, which traces the 'Word' as it traverses and interpreted in different arts. It is a melange of poetry, singing, dance and theatre.
