What if tomorrow you go to a police station and lodge a complaint about your lost cell phone and the police refuses to respond or even register the complaint? You will try following it up for a few days and after a point in time you buy a new one That is so obvious and simple, isn't it? But what if this valuable is a dear one of you? Things go a bit different. The problem intensifies to a thousand folds, just because a mobile phone is replaceable, but your dear one. This is what happens with Jiyalal Shrivastav a middle aged farmer who is living in a remote village with his wife Laajwanti (Laajo) and a 6 year old daughter Gauri. A small family, picture perfect. But one fateful day, this perfect picture is shattered when the six years old Gauri goes missing. Jiyalal torn and shattered starts the search of his only daughter and gets to know that the Daaroga Imaandar Pandey, the local vidhayak(M.L.A) Durgvijay Singh's goons and the whole village is on the way to search for Gauri. Jiyalal overwhelmed by this ray of hope continues the search for his only child Gauri in every nook and corner. But very soon his bubble of hope bursts when he reaches police station only to know that the whole department is busy finding another Gauri who apparently is a 'dear' buffalo owned by the local MLA. What happens next?
