The Prithvi Theatre Festival 2017, one of the most celebrated theatre festivals in the city, is around the corner. It runs from the 3rd to 13th of November 2017.

The highlights at the main theatre:

• 6 Premiere Productions
• Sufi Performance by NOORAN SISTERS
• 1 Indian Classical Music Concert Performance - pure natural acoustics
• 1 Western Classical Music Concert by Symphony Orchestra of India -
pure natural acoustics
• 1 Fusion Dance performance - Where Indian and Western styles merge
• 1 Ramleela in Urdu
• 1 Carnival
• 8 Platform Performances

The highlights at Prithvi House:
• 5 Fringe Theatre productions
• 4 StageTalk@Prithvi - discussions with eminent Theatre practitioners about the working journey through Theatre
• PEN@Prithvi - Literary Encounter
• Chai&Why? - Explore the wonders of Science with TIFR in a theatrical manner

Some of the groups participating in the Festival are Motley, Ansh, Rage, D for Drama, Aasakta Kalamanch, The Hoshruba Repertory, Rahen, Sri Shraddha Ramlila Committee and others.
