Yatri Festival 2018...Celebrating 39 Years In Theatre...

Om Katare's Yatri is among the older Hindi theatre groups in the city which is still going strong. Its festival in 2018 will showcase various plays- old and more recent from the group's repertoire. The festival will feature the two popular comedies RAVANLEELA and CHINTA CHHOD CHINTAMANI; the latter has already completed 200 shows. The festival will take place at Prithvi Theatre from 9th January to 14th January 2018.

The festival's schedule:

YEH TERA DIL MERA DIL- EK PREM GATHA
A hilarious satire inspired by Late Hari Shankar Parsai's famous novel Rani Nagfani Ki Kahani
9th Jan’18 at 9 pm

HUM PAANCH
This is a story of a single mother and her four daughters who raises her four daughters. A play on women power and the girl child.
10th Jan’18 at 9 pm

TILLU KI DULHANIYA
K.P.Saxena’s humorous and romantic play
11th Jan’18 at 9 pm

JEENE BHI DO YAARO
For 18+
What happens after the initial romance in a relationship is taken over by the daily grind of life and when marriage becomes a routine?
12th Jan’18 at 9 pm

RAAVANLEELA
Dr. Kusum Kumar’s most talked about play and a funny, boisterous take on the Ramayan.
13th Jan’18 at 6 & 9 pm

MAGIC IF!
Yatri's action-packed, adventurous play for children
14th Jan’18 at 12 pm

CHINTA CHHODCHINTAMANI
Vasant Kanitkar's hilarious social comedy - a comment on the contemporary, social scenario.
