Satyadev Dubey

Satyadev Dubey was not just one of India’s legendary theatre directors, he was also a great teacher and inspiration for three generations of theatre actors, directors, and writers. Dubey's passing away was a big blow to the theatre community, but his memory lives on.

On 13th July 2018 Dubey would have turned 82. To celebrate his memory and spirit a group of theatre-makers have planned a day-long celebration of exciting theatre and music performances at Prithvi House. All those involved in the performances have been deeply inspired by Dubey, and this day is their tribute.

Come, join these theatre-makers as they celebrate Dubey on his birth anniversary on 13th July 2018 at Prithvi Theatre.

The performances are free and open to all on a first come first serve basis.
