Slovenian playwright Evald Flisar's sensitive and entertaining play is about a man of letters who thinks ''reading forces us to experience life through words'', and a woman of action who believes ''life is all about creating impressions'', and how by measuring the pulse of the time, they almost miss the plot of their own story. The play opens in an old bookshop, reflecting the wisdom from education and knowledge that cocoons the owner of ''Bibliophile''. His assistant, hungry for wisdom, finds herself drawn into this world as she tries to escape the harsh realities of the one she has to survive in. Their experience of life defines the way they hide behind, around and between words and actions, to accept what they are in relation to each other, while still remaining enigmas to themselves. But are words - even those expressed in poetry - enough to express true emotions, or to conceal them? What if words are dust and wisdom is an illusion. And Time is the only thing that matters...
