The play's plot reads like a trip down memory lane. 14th April 1944. A huge explosion rips Bombay harbour...the SS Fort Stikine has blown up! Explosives, oil, timber, scrap iron, flesh, limbs and gold ingots?! rain down the city. And in 3, Sakina Manzil, an old apartment building near the docks, a love story unfolds.
A love story that has all the trappings of nostalgia, yearning, sweet memories, longing and pure romance. This is elevated docudrama on the one hand as it is a reminiscence of two silent lovers on the other. A truly engaging affair.
