A director tries to commit suicide when everything in her life was alright. A writer who is so obsessed with his writing, that he often forgets the line between reality and fiction. An actor lost in his world of theatre, for him theatre acting is only his life and love. A dancer who has lost his need to talk and only speaks through dance movements. And a light- sound operator who can see ghosts on the stage while operating lights on the stage. When such four characters come together in a mental asylum, what follows is the confrontation of the real world and the theatre world.
Do the reality of the world and the craziness of theatre intermingle? Are they able to separate fact and fiction? Are they able to return to their true selves or do they find a new self in the asylum? The Black Sun is an intensely gripping journey of a theatre director, writer, an actor, dancer and a light-sound operator who are compelled to confront with craziness and creativity.
