Namdeo Lahute

Namdeo Lahute:
"My father was a thorough military man! He, in fact, hated theatre... The secret of my love for theatre was my grandmother. All members of my family were intrested in devotional music, etc. Most of us used to attend religious discourses i.e. purana-s. After having listened to the engrossing story-telling of the purana-s, i used to gather my friends and give a kirtana performance, extempore. Dialogues, music all by Namdeo Lahute."
