Having incurred a heavy loss in the share market, Narottam Badani, who till then rolled in money, is brought to the road side with his entire family in a flash of a second. His family of 3 sons, a daughter-in-law & his wife have to shift from their palatial Walkeshwar bunglow to a bunglow in Vasai, belonging to Narottam's NRI friend. His days are spent in wondering how to stay away from the eyes of the curious society & the money-lenders. That’s when he seeks advice from his family astrologer, Bachubhai who on seeing his wife's hand predicts, that if his youngest son were to marry as soon as possible then, he would regain his wealth as well as his lost position in society.

Immediately therafter, Narottam & his wife return home heaving a sign of relief & break the news to their youngest son, Archan. But Archan is in a dilemma cause the girl Avantika, whom he loves & wants to marry has taken an oath, that if she ever marries the boy will have to be an orphan. Amidst this dilemma, Archan’s mother, Alaknanda comes up with a plan; the execution of which is a little difficult. Finally having no other choice but to accept Alaknanda's plan, the family lands into chaotic, hilarious situations.
