Antar Yatra

By MTG editorial

ANTARYATRA is a play based on the Indian philosophy of Moh, Maya and Karma. With the help of dance and music, this philosophy is explained in this play. The Hero of the play, Janam is attached to his grandfather. His grandfather also loves him. Janam is deeply interested in dance and acting. His parents think these activities are useless. Janam’s grandfather supports him.

Janam then meets Julie, a Christian girl and falls in love with her. Janam’s parents once again oppose the marriage and only when Janam becomes a television star, do they allow him to marry Julie. However some days prior to the marriage Julie goes missing. No one ever finds out why. Then Janam’s parents die in an accident and even his grandfather feels depressed. Janam is left dealing with loneliness and grief. He comes to terms with life through spiritual questioning.
