Oye Band Baj Gaya!

By MTG editorial

Dushyant is preparing for a party with the help of his very comic servant Bansi as his dominant wife Shakuntala is out of town. Dushyant invites his friends but none of them agree to come since they fear being caught out by Shakuntala. Dushyant invites his daughter Dipti for the party but she too refuses to come as she and her mother are not on good terms.

During the preparations of the party Soniya (to be daughter-in-law) enters and becomes a part of the celebration. Pyarelal, secretary of Shakuntala arrives and joins the party. This isn’t the first time that there is a get-together in Shakuntala’s absence but this time Dushyant gets caught when Shakuntala enters and fires everyone until their son Siddharth flies to India from the USA to surprise them. Shakuntala is not in support of this and sends him off to Nashik for training and plans his wedding without his consideration.

Meanwhile, after all the preparations are in process, and all the invitation cards are sent out, their son Siddharth returns and is stunned to hear the news of his engagement. He confesses to his parents that he is already married and that he will not get married to Soniya. Shakuntala fumes with anger and in the meantime, Siddharth tells everybody that his wife Suhani is standing outside the door. Shakuntala does not accept her. Siddharth rebels and opposes his mother and says that he is in love with Suhani and will not leave her at any cost. He apologizes to Soniya and Soniya understands. After Suhani enters she isn’t accepted by Shakuntala but lives in the house. The story moves ahead with twists and turns. A mixture of comedy and love.
