A family drama with a comic twist that deals with Mumbai's age-old housing problem. When the hero finds himself wronged by false and lofty promises of the builder, he takes the matter into his hands. He devises a 'short cut' to turn the tables on the builder, but he must have the heroine's cooperation to carry out his plan successfully. Trapped in her middle-class morality, will she be able to shed her none-too-useful values and participate whole-heartedly in the hero's 'short cut'? To find out, watch this play with light yet meaningful dialogue. A cocktail of emotions ranging from love, affection, empathy to jealousy and greed, the play has a strong social message for these fast paced times. Ashok Patki's lilting music is an added bonus.
