Konkan Kanya Express

A comedy with a purpose, Konkan Kanya Express refers to the train plying between Mumbai and Konkan. The play is mostly based on the commotion and chaos on the railway platform. On the platform the commuters include people from all walks of life and all parts of the country. From the fabled "bhaiya" North Indian immigrant to the Malvani son of the soil - the railway platform is teeming with activity. Playfully, the drama touches upon various problems plaguing the common Mumbaikar- from inflation, unaffordable housing prices to impending bankruptcy. Amidst all this, the police is tipped about a terrorist intending to blow up the station. What follows is confusion confounded and a rollicking comedy.
