This course intends to bring faculty from diverse streams to share their knowledge on Ancient Greek Tragedies. This would be a workshop format lecture series for 4 Saturdays and 4 Sundays of August' 18.

There are Eight text selected for the course, as follows:
Orestia by Aeschylus
Lysistrata by Aristophanes
Antigone by Sophocles
Trachiniae By Sophocles
Odyssey By Homer
Bacchae By Euripides
Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus
Argonautica by Apollonius Rhodius

The course is a Literary and Philosophical Exploration of Ancient Greek Tragedies and reflecting upon these works in contemporary times.

Theatre Workshop Fees : 6000/-
