TIME: 1:PM to 4:PM every Sunday for 3 hours

LOCATION: It will be in one of our regular venues in Bandra.

Improvisation (Also known as Improv) is a form of spontaneous comedy that ditches pre-determined scripts, where the plot/ story/ characters of a game/ scene/ monologue are made up in the moment.

BEGINNERS CLASS
Improv is an important tool for about everyone in life. Discover how to actively listen, to use your own life to create stories, and work on the fundamental principles of improvisation. The class will focus on team building and the concept that “If your teammate looks good, then you will look good”. Emphasis will be placed on understanding and utilizing basic scene work skills and most importantly, having fun. Lots of laughs and lots of stage time. Learn 8 basic Improv games that you would see in Improv Show. This class will do a short 50-minute opening set for the Student Showcase. You do not need to have any stage experience to attend this class.

MAXIMUM STUDENTS: 18

COURSE FEE:- Rs 10,900/- with nonrefundable Rs 3500/- advance payment to book a seat.

COURSE INSTRUCTORr: Ankit Challa
Ankit Challa is known for his character work and comic timing. Passionate about acting and comedy, he has studied theatre with Barry John Acting Studio and Theatre Professionals.
He has been trained at and performed with Improv Comedy Mumbai (ICM) for the last 7 years, has performed with ICM in Berlin, Amsterdam, Seattle and Dubai. Is currently the acting Managing Director of ICM. He also teaches Improvisation theatre to aspiring improvisers for the last four years. Also introduced Improv on national television for "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge" He has performed alongside world wonderful improvisers like Ryan Stiles (Whose Line Is It Anyway?) at Upfront Theatre, Bellingham, Randy Dixon (Unexpected Productions), Adam Dow (Improv Comedy Mumbai)
