COURSE CONTENT

� Group exercises, drama games and improvisation
� A range of approaches to acting technique
� Understanding and developing characters
� Rehearsing & acting in front of camera
� Exploring the use of voice and body through vocal and physical exercises
� Introduction to film-making (pre-production, shooting and post-production)
� Guest lecturers (renowned faculties & casting professionals)
� SHOOTING OF 2 FILM FESTIVAL ORIENTED SHORT FILMS (All students will be participating and promoted)

Each class will provide plenty of opportunity to practice your new acting skills under a very friendly atmosphere, ensuring you feel comfortable and get the most out of your course.

COURSE STRUCTURE
This workshop is divided into three sectors:

1st MONTH (December):

Various exercises and activities:

Games and training program on body (movement, language, posture & gestures) regarding:

� Voice (articulation, diction, modulation, pitch, rhythm, range & projection techniques)
� Mind (concentration, observation, imagination, visualization, creative imagination, memory & presence of mind)
� Heart (9 + 2 emotions, conviction, inner to outer, outer to inner, sensitivity & trust)

2nd MONTH (January):

Implementation of what we learned in 1st Month:

� Improvisation
• Characterization techniques
� Audition training
� Camera acting (will be conducted in a very unique technical environment)
� Camera facing
� On-screen analysis of students� performance
� Enactments
� 5 W�s

3rd MONTH (February):

Shooting of short films targeting film festivals:

� Conceiving the idea/ plot of short film
� Script writing, reading & understanding
� Casting
� Shooting
� Editing
� Dubbing
� Promotion & release of the short film
