Solo Performances of Hindustani Short Stories
Premchand's BADE BHAI SAHAB | Enacted by Vicky Ahuja
The Hare & the Tortoise are brothers in school. Will wisdom & knowledge be sacrificed for information & degrees at the altar of modern education?
Munshi Premchand (31 July 1880 8 October 1936) continues to be a mirror to Indian society and its traditions. A socialist, feminist, progressive intellectual much before these terms acquired their modern definitions, he believed in championing the cause of the marginalised through his writing. Greed, dishonesty, cruelty abound in this world, as do kindness, bravery & humour.
