The play CHEKHOV KI DUNIYA is a Hindi adaptation of six short stories by the great Russian writer Anton Chekhov. The stories deal with human emotions and speak of relationships, power plays, sublime love, of the commonplace and everyday to exceptional circumstances, from the abyss of poverty to the idle games of the rich.
The play is directed by Ranjit Kapoor, alumnus of the NSD (1976) and winner of the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Award and the Sangeet Natak Academi Award.
