Narhar Kurundkar, born in 1932, was a great thinker, writer and speaker and was known for his fearless criticism on fanaticism. He was authority on Shastra, Puran, Mahabharat, Natyashastra, Sangeet, Aesthetic, Art and Culture, Philosophy, History, Sociology and Political Science. He spearheaded campaign against the emergency using his oratory skills and telling stories of Aesop in public lectures. The format of his lectures in emergency was powerful in reaching out to citizens but the method was so tactful that the then Government could not take action against him because of the approach he took in delivering the lectures.
Though the backdrop of the play is his thoughts and depiction of his life journey it strongly conveys messages of importance of rational thinking and at the same time appealing thinkers to understand values of social fabrics, traditions, and culture of our country.
This two acts play is presented by 6 artists and 4 technicians. The duration of play is 2 hours. Use of LED screen, costumes, music, make-up and lights enhance the impact of the presentation. The show is equally entertaining and though-provoking.
