Acting is not about pretending or performing emotions on command. Acting is about understanding human behaviour, intention, imagination, and truthful response. The 1-Month Weekend Acting Workshop is designed to help participants understand acting as a structured and learnable skill, not a mystery or a talent reserved for a few.
This workshop runs over four weekends, making it ideal for students, working professionals, and creative individuals who want to explore acting without disturbing their weekday routine. The focus of the program is practical learning, self-awareness, and confidence building through experience-based training.
Purpose of the Workshop
The aim of this workshop is to build a strong acting foundation. Participants are guided to understand how acting works internally rather than copying performances or relying on shortcuts. The training helps actors become natural, believable, and present in their performance.
By the end of the workshop, participants gain clarity about acting basics, emotional truth, character work, and scene understanding, along with improved confidence and expression.
Workshop Structure
The workshop follows a weekend-based structure spread across one month. Each session is progressive and builds on previous learning. Sessions include:
Physical and mental warm-ups
Acting exercises
Improvisation training
Scene work in pairs or groups
Feedback and discussion
This structure ensures learning happens gradually and comfortably.
Our Training Module & Acting Methodology
Our training module is inspired by established acting techniques used in theatre and cinema. Instead of teaching rigid methods, we extract the core principles of these techniques and translate them into simple, practical exercises that are easy to understand and apply. Visit us and follow us.
The exercises focus on:
Truthful behaviour
Given circumstances
Objectives and intentions
Imagination and observation
Emotional honesty
Physical and vocal awareness
Actors first experience the exercise, then understand the concept behind it, and finally apply it in performance. This makes learning relatable, grounded, and long-lasting.
Emotional & Physical Training
Emotional work in the workshop focuses on honest response rather than forced emotion. Actors are trained to use imagination and circumstances instead of personal trauma, ensuring a safe and professional learning environment.
Body-based exercises help actors develop awareness of posture, movement, stillness, and physical behavior. Participants learn how the body naturally supports emotion and intention. Visit us and follow us.
Voice & Improvisation Training
Voice training focuses on breath control, clarity, ease, and emotionally connected dialogue delivery. Actors learn to speak naturally and confidently without strain.
Improvisation is treated as an important acting tool. Through structured improv exercises, participants develop listening skills, spontaneity, presence, and confidenceskills essential for auditions, rehearsals, and live performance. Visit us and follow us.
Scene Work & Application
Scene work brings all learning together. Participants work on scenes to understand character objectives, relationships, conflict, and moment-to-moment reactions. Guidance is provided so actors understand why a scene works, not just how to perform it.
Learning Environment
The workshop offers a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. Participants are encouraged to explore, experiment, and grow without fear. Feedback is constructive and encouraging, helping actors gain clarity and confidence. Visit us and follow us.
Who Can Join
This workshop is suitable for aspiring actors, beginners, theatre enthusiasts, students, working professionals, and anyone interested in self-expression and performance. No prior acting experience is required. Visit us and follow us.
