Acting is not about memorising dialogues or forcing emotions. It is about understanding human behaviour, emotional truth, imagination, and honest reaction. The 5-Day Online Acting Workshop is designed to introduce participants to acting as a structured, practical, and learnable skill, even within an online format.

This workshop is ideal for beginners, aspiring actors, students, and working professionals who want to explore acting but may not be able to attend physical classes. Through live sessions, guided exercises, and interactive learning, participants experience real acting training from the comfort of their own space.

Workshop Objective

The objective of this workshop is to give participants a clear foundation in acting. The focus is on helping actors understand how acting works internally rather than copying performances or relying on surface-level expressions.

By the end of five days, participants gain clarity about acting basics, emotional truth, body awareness, voice usage, and on-camera presence, along with increased confidence and self-expression.

Online Training Structure

This is a live, instructor-led online workshop conducted over five consecutive days. Each session is carefully designed to remain engaging, practical, and interactive.

Every session includes:

Physical and mental warm-ups

Technique-inspired acting exercises

Improvisation and interaction

Situation and scene-based work

Feedback and discussion

Participants actively work on camera to ensure learning remains experiential and not passive.

Our Training Module & Acting Methodology

The training module is inspired by established acting techniques used in theatre and cinema, adapted for online learning. Instead of rigid methods or heavy theory, the workshop focuses on extracting core principles and applying them through simple, relatable exercises.

The training emphasizes truthful behaviour in imaginary circumstances, understanding intention and objectives, emotional honesty without forcing emotions, imagination, observation, listening, and reacting truthfully.

Actors experience the exercise first, understand the concept next, and then apply it practically.

Body, Voice & Emotional Training

Participants work on body awareness within a limited camera frame, posture, stillness, and controlled movement. Voice training focuses on breath control, clarity, ease, and emotionally connected dialogue delivery suited for microphones and online performance.

Emotional training focuses on honest response rather than exaggeration, ensuring safety, control, and repeatable performance.

Improvisation & Scene Work

Improvisation exercises help participants develop spontaneity, confidence, listening skills, and presence. Scene and situation work allows actors to understand character intention, relationships, and moment-to-moment reactions with guided feedback.
