BREAKING DOWN THE SCRIPT (12 ELEMENTS)
This is one of the most important subject for Actors. Students will be given a particular script where they will apply all these different elements (exp. how to use a property in an act & enhance the performance). In the end, you can identify that how these elements shaped your script and become conducive to enhance the act, and at the same time this will also enhance your performance.

BEATS & ACTIONS
How to understand the script, its different thoughts & actions.

BASICS OF FILM MAKING
Subjects itself explains the connotation. How to write a screenplay, what are the different shots to be used in a film. What is Pre Production, Post Production, Production & Shot Division. In this session, students will be asked to prepare a film script & submit.

SHORT FILMS (SEASON 13 & 14)
Cadence Theatre Mumbai introduced a new concept as a part of the 6 months course - SHORT FILM.

9 EMOTIONS + 2
The Nava Rasa by Shri. Bharat Muni - Natya Shashtra (Raudra, Shanta, etc.)

OBSTACLES
This is one of the most crucial subject, wherein the actor gets to work upon his strengths & weaknesses. The faculty will help you in understanding the various obstacles that limits the actor to grow further, which appears to be an eye opener. Herein the faculty will guide you overcoming your obstacles, based as per his observations, research & years of experience in the field.

MEISNER TECHNIQUES
This is one of the most effective acting technique in the world. It teaches how to act realistically & naturally as per the scene. The biggest advantage of this technique is to make you an effective listener which is crucial for an overall development of an actor.

METHOD ACTING
Method Acting is one of the most Effective Acting tool worldwide. It helps the actors to create real thoughts & emotions under imaginary circumstances. Method acting refers to a range of training & rehearsal techniques that seek to encourage sincere & emotionally expressive performance
