Venue :RANGSHILA THEATRE & ACTING SCHOOL ARAM NAGAR PART-1 VERSOVA MUMBAI - 400061, MAHARASHTRA, India
The Advanced Acting program is an intensive and rigorous investigation for the student actor to experience and develop differing techniques in Text Analysis; Character Development; Physical Language; Voice, and Imagination.
Derived primarily from the teaching of Stanivlaski, Meisner, Viewpoints, Michael Chekhov and Glenn Haydens 39 years acting, teaching and directing for the theatre, the program gives students practical applications of acting, voice, movement and imagination within the contemporary professional industry, supporting the actor in making personal connections to words, emotion, and the creative world of acting.
Glenns approach to the actors work is firmly planted in the universal theatre language of: Stanislavskis Seven Questions, and Practical Aesthetics, originally conceived by David Mamet and William H. Macy
Utilising scenes from the English-speaking canon of classical and contemporary texts, students will be required to actively participate in all aspects of the program, culminating in a showcase for invited faculty and guests.
His work encourages the student actor to experience the differing techniques of the acting process, empowering them to formulate their own processes while remaining empathetic and productive when working with others to create a harmonious and fruitful process for the benefit of the play or film.
