PLOT & PLAY: A Journey Through Storytelling
About: ONE DAY fun workshop is an engaging and interactive experience designed to explore the essence of storytelling through improvisation and games. Participants will dive into the core elements of a story--character, conflict, setting, and resolution while discovering the inspiration and intention behind narratives. Through playful exercises, they will experiment with adapting stories across different mediums, translating ideas into visual storytelling via storyboarding. Perfect for beginners and enthusiasts alike, this workshop promises a creative, fun-filled exploration of how stories evolve from imagination to stage and beyond!

CHARACTER LAB: Character, Sub Text & You
About: ONE DAY workshop of compelling storytelling with this immersive one-day fun workshop, where we unravel the essence of character building and characterization. Through an in-depth exploration of the 5 W's of Character Analysis, we will decode the layers of personalities seen in novels and cinema. Engage in dynamic subtext with various improvisations to uncover hidden emotions and motivations, enhancing your performance skills. Just as masks reveal as much as they conceal, characters are shaped by both their visible traits and unspoken depths. Explore how masks-literal and metaphorical help in understanding character transformation and hidden subtexts. Whether you're an actor, writer, or theatre enthusiast, this session will equip you with the tools to create authentic, multidimensional characters that leave a lasting impact.

THE ACTOR'S PULSE : From Rasa to Reaction
About: TWO DAY Acting Fun Workshop is an immersive and high-energy experience designed to sharpen an actor's craft through focused work on body movements, speech modulation, volume and pitch control, improvisation, and monologues. Participants will dive deep into the emotional world of performance, working on authentic action-reaction techniques that enhance stage and screen presence. While touching upon the foundational principles of Natyashastra and key elements of Method Acting, the workshop prioritizes practical exploration. Through improvisation with different mediums- voice, movement, space, and objects--actors are encouraged to break inhibitions and discover spontaneity in performance. Whether you're a beginner or a performer looking to reconnect with your core instincts, this workshop offers a dynamic space to explore, express, and evolve.

DESIGNING THE PERFORMER: Mood board to Spotlight
About: ONE DAY fun workshop is a vibrant introduction to the world of visual storytelling and performance, blending improvisation, demonstration, and hands-on exploration. Designed for actors, theatre enthusiasts, and curious minds, the session explores how design elements enhance a script or a character, both on and off stage. Participants will engage in activities that decode the basic principles of centre stage dynamics, visual mood boards, and the emotional power of colours and lighting. Through playful exercises and creative tasks, the workshop covers the basics of lighting design, understanding costume and look creation, and the role of props in enriching performance. Rooted in the essence of harya Abhinaya (the visual expression in Indian theatre tradition), the workshop offers a holistic view of how an actor collaborates with design to shape believable and irripactful characters. Whether you're an amateur actor or an aspiring director visual artist interested in stagecraft or anyone curious about the behind-the-scenes magic performance. Just bring your curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to explore!
