Surnai pays tribute to one of the finest actors and a multi dimensional personality Late Shri A K Hangal. His dedication and passion for theatre, cinema and social work is an inspiration for all of us. From being an expert in tailoring to being jailed for his participation in the Indian freedom struggle and finally being honoured with the civilian award "Padma Bhushan", Hangal Saheb's journey had been amazing.

We dedicate this day to Hangal Saheb by reading excerpts from his autobiography "MAIN EK HARFAN MAULA - A K HANGAL" This interesting autobiography reveals the various aspects of his personality....his commitment and contribution to his country, IPTA, theatre and films. We will be joined by some of his close associates to share their fond memories and their experiences of knowing him and working with him.

Please do join us in remembering and celebrating the life and times of A K Hangal.
