NSD Plans Bharangam 2022

National School of Drama is organizing the 22nd Bharat Rang Mahotsav, 2022 – International Theatre Festival of India and has already invited proposals for participation in the Festival from directors, theatre groups, theatre organizations and drama institutions from all over India and abroad. The last date for entry was October 31, 2021.

According to the NSD, the 22nd BHARAT RANG MAHOTSAV - 2022 will be held from 1st to 21 st February 2022 in Delhi and five other cities of India, observing all Covid protocols. "On the occasion of the 75th Year of India’s Independence, the Festival will be celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in honour of freedom fighters and unsung heroes of the Indian Independence struggle.

Entries for 22nd BRM were invited under the following four categories:-"
a) Unsung Heroes of Independence
b) Classical and Traditional Indian plays
c) Folk and Tribal plays by Folk &Tribal groups d) Contemporary Modern Indian Plays and other plays."
