Celebrating 10th Year of Swatantra Rang Theatre Festival

The Swantantra Rang Theatre Festival to celebrate its 10th year on 16th and 17th December 2023 will be held at the Film and Television Institute Of India, Pune.

The festival will start with India's most celebrated writer RK Narayan's MALGUDI DAYS, and include SIHAR UTHI THI MAUT YAHAN, which has won 7 Awards at the 61st Maharashtra Rajya Natya Spardha 22-23. Both the plays will held on December 16, 2023 at 3.45 pm and 7.30 pm respectively.

The festival will feature HAMIDA BAI KI KOTHI on the second day, a story of times that is the epitome of classic tawaif tradition in India followed by TAJMAHAL KA TENDER - awarded as the best play and Ashwin Sharma - who has been awarded as the best actor from the Government of Maharashtra in Rajya Natya 2019. Both the plays will held at 3.45 pm and 7.30 pm respectively.
