A popular theatre festival organized by Unicorn Actors Studio, is set to held from 28th " 30th June 2024. This festival is a special tribute to Tripurari Sharma, who passed away on Oct 1, 2023. She was a well-known playwright, director and professor of the National School Of Drama. This theatre festival will have six plays in Hindi.

The festival opens on June 28th with ROOP AROOP, a play based on North India's Nautanki tradition. This legendary production has been performed over 200 times and was directed by the late Tripurari Sharma, a giant of Indian theatre. The lead actor, Happy Ranajit, won the best actor award at the prestigious META festival for his performance in the play. ROOP AROOP will be followed by the dazzling BLOODY BOMBAY at 8:30 pm.

BLOODY BOMBAY, on the other hand, is one of the crowning achievements in the illustrious body of work of the studio and has gained immense popularity, treating the various strata of actor life and struggles in Bombay as its subject matter. Both the plays will be held at Veda Kunba Theatre.

The festival continues on June 29th at 7 pm with a performance of their smash hit, LOVE KA OVERDOSE. This critically acclaimed play, with over fifty performances under its belt, even inspired a Bollywood musical at the renowned Kingdom of Dreams. LOVE KA OVERDOSE breaks the fourth wall, creating a unique experience where the line between scripted and improvised blurs on multiple occasions.

This will be followed by a repeat performance of BLOODY BOMBAY at 8.30 pm.

On June 30, 2024, there will be a Tour De Force staging of the KAHANIYO KA RANGMANCH, woven in the direction and tradition of the mythical style of Devendra Raj Ankur, at 6 pm.

The festival concludes with a powerful performance of Arthur Miller's timeless classic, ALL MY SONS, in Hindi at 7.30 pm. This meticulously detailed production explores the themes of war and profiteering, featuring a captivating performance by Sangeet Natak Akademi Award winner Gauri Dewal.
