Theatre is a powerful medium of human expression, reflecting society and its emotions. Celebrated every year on March 27, World Theatre Day honors theatrical arts and their creators. Around the globe, this day is marked by plays, discussions, and events emphasizing the significance of theatre. Gujarati theatre has played a vital role in enriching this artistic tradition.

To commemorate this occasion, Gujarati Bhasha Bhavan, managed by Kandivali Education Society, along with the Gujarati Department (Undergraduate-Postgraduate) of S.N.D.T. Women’s University, Mumbai, is organizing a grand celebration. The event will feature blessings from a literary luminary, a book launch, and a theatre performance.
