Sri Rajatava Dutta, the veteran actor of Indian stage and film is performing in BANDHER DOSH DIN! An actor of excellence, Rajatava has worked in English, Hindi, and Bengali films. He is also extremely popular as a judge on the famous reality show “Mirakkel”.
This interesting play is adapted from a story by Sandipan Chattopadhyay, written and directed by Amitava Dutta, and is presented at SmaranniK Theatre Festival 2024.
The play unfolds the life of Subhabrata, who recently shifted to a small, two-roomed flat in Behala near his office with his wife, Kuntala, and daughter, Pinky. Everything was going quite well before one day Subhabrata and Kuntala faced a completely unforeseen situation at home that made their lives go topsy turvy. Subhabrata had never thought that a simple incident like this could impact his family and change their lives! Subhabrata and Kuntala struggle to handle the tough situation and manage Subhabrata’s dying mother, whom he had left in his home at Ahiritala. They try hard and finally come up to a new realization fighting these difficult situations of their lives. But, what was the situation that changed their lives so much? How did they face the situation? What did life make them learn new?
