MANCHHA

A lawyer hires an actor to tutor him in recounting to his loved ones a story that has long troubled him. It concerns events that transpired when he attended the funeral of an elderly recluse in an eerie and almost abandoned village called Lakhpat in Kutch. There he sees a woman named Manchha, the mere mention of whom terrifies the locals and makes their faces go pale.
