KABULIWALA

KABULIWALA: A heart warming story written by Tagore, of a 19-Century Afghan trader, who had left behind his family to trade his wares (toys, dry-fruits etc.) in Kolkata. When he meets Mini, a lively little girl on his daily rounds, she reminds him of his own little daughter back home. There on starts a special father-daughter like relationship between the two, sensitively enacted in a Kathak based solo performance of 20 - 25 minutes duration.
