The story begins with Hansal, the younger brother, leaving his family home to live with his elder brother Mayank, which creates a stir in the family. Mayank encourages his younger brother to shed his virginity and enjoy life with food, girls, nightlife, and no responsibility. Their parents, who belong to the orthodox section of our Indian society, are unable to cope with the new change, and this creates funny situations where both generations seem to remain alienated from one another. Mayank, who is a popular ladies man, develops deeper emotions and feelings for one of his girls after a near breakup with her. He decides to marry the girl and becomes more responsible as a professional. Meanwhile, the younger one blossoms into a playboy, imitating the elder one, and has picked up dating, dancing, drinking, and irresponsibility. This creates a new, interesting, and humorous clash between the brothers as both have changed and are about to lead new lives.
