The play "CHUPKE CHUPKE" is a rom-com, a laughter riot.
The play is a family entertainer too. Besides being a healthy comedy, it also reflects values, relationships, mutual understanding, and respect for each other's feelings.
Ghanshyam is the caretaker of Gopal Guest House a place that accommodates only young, unmarried women. The residents include Sonia (a film actress), Megha (who is looking for a job), Swati (a cook), and Narad (a domestic helper). One day, Gopal unexpectedly returns from America, revealing that the property is actually his bungalow, not a guest house. Ghanshyam hides the fact from Gopal that he has converted the bungalow into a guest house; he tells Gopal that the girls are his relatives, while telling everyone else in the house that Gopal is suffering from amnesia. It is an interesting and meaningful plan, which is of course, the theme - spirit of this romantic comedy play. A sweet conspiracy exposing a chain of hilarious, funny situations leads to a great deal of chaos, misunderstandings, and confusion. All the characters are mischievous and not what they appear to be-they are something else entirely. Each one has a dual personality. The situation keeps shifting from moment to moment, becoming increasingly funny. Ghanshyam spins a web of tales for everyone. Eventually, the whole truth comes to light, revealing that Ghanshyam had a major ulterior motive behind turning Gopal's bungalow into a guest house. At this point, a wonderful twist appears in the story, which leaves everyone pleasantly surprised by one another. What is that clue? Is it yet again an irresistible encounter of the hearts? Do the characters say the three magical words to whom they love?
