JIS LAHORE NAHI DEKHYA O JAMYAI NAI by Asghar Wajahat is set during the Partition of India. It follows a Muslim family that migrates to Lahore and is given a house previously owned by a Hindu family. However, an elderly Hindu woman still lives there and refuses to leave. Despite initial tension, the family and the woman form a deep bond. Their peaceful coexistence is disrupted by rising communal tensions, ultimately leading to tragic consequences. The play highlights humanity, tolerance, and the emotional cost of Partition.
