An amateur theatre group from Mumbai goes to stage a play in a small town. Benare, Sukhatme, Mr. Kashikar, Mrs. Kashikar, Ponkshe, Karnik, Rokde and Samant come together to perform a mock play with the teacher, Benare, as the accused.
Through sharp wit, irony, and biting social commentary, this satirical courtroom drama holds a mirror to society and exposes its implicit gender bias.
