PAHADINAMA Story :

Explore travel, tourism, and the essence of mountain life through a humorous lens with ‘PAHADINAMA’. It is the story of four artists invited by the Uttarakhand Tourism Department to showcase their travelogues. When a natural calamity leaves them stranded at a tea stall on the day of their performance, the unexpected delay prompts them to rethink their perceptions of the hills and mountain dwellers, breaking away from romanticized notions.

Written and directed by Neha Bahuguna, the play uses satire to delve into the complexities of travel in the mountains, offering a realistic and philosophical perspective. It comes to life with an impressive ensemble starring Akshay Anand Kohli, Vipin Heero, Nehabhai, Ashutosh Singh, Harshika. The story interweaves Garhwali songs to deepen emotional resonance and enrich the cultural essence, making serious themes approachable and engaging.

Amid folk songs and dances that evoke the misty ambiance of the hills, ‘PAHADINAMA’ invites the audience to reflect on the intrinsic charm and challenges of mountainous terrain, painting a vivid picture of life beyond the tourist brochures.
