To find accommodation in a big metropolitan city like Mumbai can prove to be a Herculean task especially if one is new to the city. The play RASIK MACHHUWARAN takes off from this premise to present a situation in which a landlady called Machhuwaran and her two stooges, Rasik and Rozy dupe their paying guests.

All seems to be going well for the three swindlers till a couple of paying guests realize that they are being fooled. Since Rozy misled one of them into thinking that she was is love with him, the paying guest decides to avenge himself by playing along with Rozy�s emotions. Ultimately the situation works against her as she hopelessly gets entangled in her own created mess. She is even ready to marry the paying guest.

Rasik realizes the folly of his actions and puts and end to the false love game. Rozy too accepts her mistakes and then the two of the help the paying guests build their careers. Posed as a satire, the play�s USP is Upasana Singh, a character film artiste playing Rozy. Upasana Singh has acted in films 'Judai', 'Hungama', 'Mujhse Shadi Karogi' and others.
