SHEESHON Ka MASIHA is a unique programme that showcases the poetry and life of renowned Urdu poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz. Presented in a theatrical cum concert form, it is a presentation that will appeal to the music connoisseur as well as the theatre enthusiast. Internationally acclaimed personalities Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar narrate interesting anecdotes about Faiz’s life, philosophical letters and snippets from his autobiography in their inimitable style.

The young Ghazal singer Jaswinder Singh sings Faiz’s soulful ghazals and nazms in his mesmerizing voice. The music has been designed by Kuldip Singh. The narration is woven together with the musical rendition in a manner that will undoubtedly leave the audience spellbound. This show highlights the Indo – Pak friendship and in today’s changing scenario it is very relevant.

Faiz Sahib's love for humanity is free from the prejudices of race, colour or nationality.
