"SUPERSTAR" is a comedic farce Set in the 1960s. The play revolves around the Star Studios, which is eagerly awaiting the arrival of world-famous Actor Karan Kumar to perform in the lead role of Mughal-e-Azam. However, chaos ensues when Karan takes a double dose of tranquillisers, leading to a series of mistaken identities, misunderstandings, and a hilarious chain of events. Right after that, Dhananjay Chatterjee, an owner of an average production house, Star Studious, convinces his assistant, Yusuf, to impersonate the actor. As Yusuf tries to fill Karan Kumar's shoes, when Karan wakes up, adding another layer of complexity to the ambition, and the unpredictability of live theatre. As the characters navigate the escalating mayhem, "SUPERSTAR" delivers a fast-paced and uproarious comedy filled with door-slamming antics, misunderstandings, and a whirlwind of comedic events.
